Mission Statement: To develop solutions

to Protect Life, Mankind and

Colonize the Solar System

Thought experiment example:

If colonizing the solar system helps protect mankind, consider the following:

1 - Colonizing the Solar System is not essential to creating a robust, wholesome and sustainable society on Earth

2 - A robust, wholesome, sustainable society on Earth is essential for the colonization of the Solar System

Therefore:  A concerned engineer must take into account both issues to  properly develop a solution/roadpath for the Colonize the Solar System Proposal

Bi1lyMac in his disguise as agent NR1

Wild Bi1l graduated cum Laude from the Martian Military Academy on Demos with a degree in the Four Dark Humors, with a minor in Prank.

He has been a FEDERATION Major Crimes Detective for the last 24 years, using his experience sleuthing the most outrageous wrongdoings that were ever committed within Vesta to contribute to the technical accuracy of this book.

You can catch Bi1lyMac at the IMP and /or the Pundemonium Bar in the Zone on Saturday nights.

He finds English rules of structure to be tiresome and apologizes for all the typing and grammatical errors you can think of.  Specifically, we quote him; "Pardon the numerous text irregularities.  This book was initially written on an old Zenith laptop back in 1986 using Word Perfect.  It has been updated and improved over the years and endured many software (not always seamlessly) upgrades, and still contains some hidden code from that time period that have been devilishly hard to remove."      Contact the ghostrider if you want to improve the syntax.  Also, the ghostrider has flip-dipsia and finds the King’s English itself also devilish.

The Ghostrider practicing freefall in HD

Allen Ghostrider is seventeen years old, trapped in an older body and in a land where time is faster and gravity greater than it was in his youth.  A fair to middlin’ student of life, smart, and easily distracted.  He was introduced to Science Fiction as a youth growing up in Seattle, and became a good friend of Kelly Freas, winner of eleven HUGOs.  Joining the Science Fiction community, for decades he has traded ideas and concerns with that free-for-all group.

Al plied the seven seas while coming of age on a submarine, going from a naïve seaman recruit to Lieutenant Commander, and garnering the fabulous orders of Golden Dragon, Dolphins (Silver and Gold), Shellback and maybe Bluenose (that year is clouded in secrecy).

Also drawn to Space, Al participated in numerous military space launches, received a graduate degree in Oceanography with a focus on planetary physics, as well as being one of the first submariners nominated by the Navy for the Astronaut Program at NASA.

He spends significant time as a Master Electrician, Engineer and Natural Philosopher.  His most satisfying occupation is spent helping young people to become electricians and tradesmen, because when he was in grad school, the Professors disdained the Assistant Professors, who poo-pooed the Engineers, who shunned the technicians, and here he was, a lowly jock trying to keep up with his betters.  What better way to resolve the issue than to help our youth who somehow got lost in the public educational system.

He lives with his wife and a fully Modern American Family at his home near Seattle.
